Webern - alongside Beethoven, Schoenberg, Satie and Mahler -
is secure in my "Top-10 Composers" list [if one needs any such lists].
He communicated more distilled, powerful and intimate emotions, balance and art
in minutes [of music] then so many others fail to create in lifetimes.
His compositions are like a halo of being,
and while one doesn't listen to them daily,
once absorbed - they support existence forever.
